Summer 2026:
Yoga Immersion Weekend

Welcome to the other 90% of your practice.

A two-day, zero-pressure deep dive into the roots of yoga, your anatomy, and your own nervous system.

If you have been practicing yoga for a while, you know the magic of a 60-minute studio class. You arrive, you move, you breathe, and you leave feeling better than when you walked in. It is a beautiful, essential ritual.

But eventually, almost every dedicated student hits a moment where they want to hit "pause" and ask:

  • "Wait, why are we doing this pose?"

  • "Why does my lower back ache when I do this?"

  • "How did that specific breathing exercise just instantly calm my anxiety?"

You don't need to sign up for a 200-hour Teacher Training to get those answers. You just need a different container to learn in.

The Summer Yoga Immersion Weekend is designed specifically for curious students who want to explore the deeper roots of their practice without the pressure of a months-long commitment.

What We Will Explore

Over our two days together, we will strip away the continuous flow of a normal class. We will mix gentle movement practices with interactive presentations, discussions, and deep rest.

🌿 Anatomy & Your Unique Architecture
Yoga is not one-size-fits-all. We will look at the 8 major joints and how your specific skeletal structure moves. You will learn how to adapt foundational poses so you never push past a safe boundary again.

🌿 The Nervous System & The Subtle Body
How does yoga actually work on the brain? We will explore the mechanics of the nervous system, the vagus nerve, and how to use specific breathwork (Pranayama) to actively regulate modern stress.

🌿 Ancient Philosophy for Modern Life
We will introduce the foundational philosophy of Shambhavananda Yoga and the Yoga Sutras, translating ancient texts into highly practical tools you can use off the mat.

The Weekend at a Glance

No eight-hour sweat sessions here. Our days are paced to nourish, not deplete.

Day 1: Building the Foundation
Focus: Grounding, understanding your physical structure, and introducing the deeper purpose of the practice. We will break down the mechanics of standing poses, demystify common yoga cues (why do teachers say what they say?), and explore the actual definition of "yoga" beyond physical movement.

Day 2: The Subtle Body
Focus: Breathwork, spinal health, and nervous system regulation. We will explore the anatomy of the spine, practice the six spinal movements safely, and dive into how breath regulates our physiology. We will end the weekend with a deeply restorative practice and a heart meditation.

"But I can't even do a handstand..." (Who this is for)

Let's clear up the biggest myth in yoga right now: You do not need to be an acrobat to explore the depths of this practice. You do not need to be able to touch your toes. You do not need to know a single word of Sanskrit. You do not even need to want to be a yoga teacher.

This weekend is for you if:

  • You love your weekly classes but want to know the "why" behind the movement.

  • You want to learn how to practice safely for your specific body.

  • You are looking for tangible tools to manage stress and anxiety.

  • You want to connect with a community of normal, beautiful, imperfect people who simply want to live with a little more intention.

The Ultimate Test Drive (The Bonus)

For many students, this weekend is exactly what they need, and nothing more. But for others, this weekend is the spark that makes them want to keep going.

If you attend the Summer Immersion Weekend and decide you do want to join our comprehensive 200-Hour Level 1 Training this Fall, 100% of your Summer Immersion tuition will be credited toward your Fall program. You have absolutely nothing to lose.
