Community Care Events

We understand in order to be resilient, one must be resourced on all levels of who we truly are-

bio-psycho-social-spiritual beings. We feel the current model of self-care puts the onus on the individual to make huge changes during times of fatigue and exhaustion in a culture and society with systems that widely do not support caring for oneself.

So we are cultivating what we call 'community care' events as our way of caring for those in our community; each of us has something to offer each other that can be supportive to others on all levels of our being when we come together. Because not everyone has the material resources to go on long retreats in far off locations, or maintain a daily spiritual practice without the help of others, or the ability to create a space that facilitates rest, restoration, and nourishment; we are offering what resources we have for all in our community.

Check back as we continue to add more events based on the needs of our community. If you are a member of the community, and would like to see a specific offering, please visit our Contact Us page to give us your feedback.

If you are a teacher, or service provider interested in offering your workshop or event at our studio, or perhaps wish to partner with us in weekly class offerings, please call to speak with Amber directly.

Sankalpa: Aligning with Your Heart's Vow

  • Date: Sunday, February 1, 2026

  • Time: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM

  • Location: 5002 E. Central, suite B

  • Investment: $45.00 or $30.00 per person if you bring a friend or relative

Are you tired of "New Year’s Resolutions" that fizzle out by February?

In our culture, we are often pushed to set goals based on what we think we should fix about ourselves. We strive, we push, and often, we burn out. In the tradition of Yoga, there is a different path: Sankalpa.

A Sankalpa is not a resolution; it is a vow that comes from the heart. It is a profound statement of truth that already exists within you, waiting to be heard.

Join us for a Sunday afternoon of deep renewal.

Whether you missed the January 1st rush or simply want to approach your year with more grace and less "grin and bear it", this workshop provides the container to pause, reset and clarify your intentions.

What to Expect:

  • Gentle Therapeutic Movement: Unwind physical tension to prepare the body for stillness.

  • Guided Inquiry & Journaling: Uncover the "seed" of your intention for 2026.

  • Pratyahara (conscious rest): Plant your Sankalpa deep in the subconscious mind while the body rests.

This is for you if: You feel overwhelmed by the year ahead, you are seeking clarity on your direction, or you simply need a moment of deep rest before the week begins.

What to bring: A journal, a pen, and comfortable layers.

Seasonal Day Retreats

We offer in studio day retreats on a seasonal basis as a way to provide the vital resources of rest, regulation, and self-care in community in an accessible and affordable format. Space is limited to groups of 9 so that individual support and resources may still be provided to those in attendance. Students will leave with many tools to choose from for their own self-care needs after experiencing them, and gaining a felt sense and insight into what is needed most right now.
